Wool & Forest Alpaka light is a soft, very light, nonsuperwash blown yarn in DK thickness.
The yarn has a very special construction: the yarn is blown through a tube, which is then shrunk with heat to enclose the fibers, creating a strong yarn with a slight fluff.
Alpaca light is suitable for all clothing, accessories and scarves that should be particularly light but still thick and warm.

The stitch pattern of the Alpaca light is very even.
On Alpaca light, colors appear much lighter than on other yarns!

Not suitable for socks!

A notice:

Wool & Forest yarns are all hand dyed with acid dyes.
One of the characteristics of hand-dyed yarns is that not all strands are exactly the same and uniform!

Knitting two strands alternately helps a little to avoid pooling.

Colors appear lighter on non-superwash yarns than on superwash yarns!

Color bleeding can occur, especially with darker colors.
We therefore recommend adding colour catcher cloths to the wool bath and washing light and dark colours separately.

Hand washing with a wool detergent without enzymes, e.g. Eucalan, is recommended!

The use of fabric softener and color detergent is strongly discouraged!

The screen display may differ from the actual colors.

The price refers to 1 strand per 100g.
